2. Summary
- This website does not set any cookies for visitors and does not use any external analytics, tracking, or advertising services. I count page views anonymously, directly on the web server (Section 4).
- Fonts, images, and all other content are loaded from this website's own web server. No data is transferred to Google, Meta, or other third parties when you visit.
- I only process personal data to the extent necessary to operate this website and to respond to your inquiries.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by DomainFactory GmbH, c/o WeWork, Neuturmstraße 5, 80331 Munich, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with domainfactory.
When you visit this website, the web server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser (server log files):
- IP address
- Date and time of access
- Page or file accessed, status code, and amount of data transferred
- Address of the previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted by your browser
- Browser type and version, and operating system
This data is technically necessary to deliver the website, to ensure its security (for example, to fend off attacks), and to analyze errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and without errors. The log files are automatically deleted after 14 days at the latest. This data is not combined with other data sources.
4. Visitor statistics
To see which pages are visited and through which websites visitors find me, I count page views with the WordPress plugin Statify. Counting takes place exclusively on this website's web server. No script runs in your browser for this purpose, and no cookies are set.
For each page view, only the date, the page visited, and, if transmitted by your browser, the address of the previously visited website (referrer) are stored. IP addresses, times, and browser or device information are not stored for the statistics. The statistics therefore contain no information that could identify individual visitors. Entries are deleted automatically after one year.
To the extent that any personal data is processed at all, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in aligning the content of this website with how it is actually used.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set any cookies for visitors and does not use comparable storage technologies such as local storage. Only when I, as the operator, log in to the website's administration area does WordPress set technically necessary login cookies; this does not affect visitors.
6. Fonts
The fonts used are stored on this website's web server. No connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is established when you visit the website.
7. Contact by email or phone
If you send me an email or call me, I process the information you provide (for example, your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your inquiry) in order to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, to carry out an assignment.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to a contract or to steps prior to entering into a contract. In all other cases, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in responding to inquiries addressed to me.
For email, I use Microsoft 365, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, as a processor. A transfer of data to Microsoft Corporation in the USA cannot be ruled out. Microsoft Corporation is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; such transfers are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Microsoft has incorporated the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) into its data protection terms.
I delete your information as soon as your inquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (in particular under commercial and tax law) prevent this. In that case, the data is deleted once the retention period has expired.
8. Link to Instagram
This website links to my Instagram profile. This is a simple link, not an embedded element: no data is transferred to Instagram when you visit this website. Only when you click the link are you taken to Instagram, a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, where its privacy policy applies.
9. Encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.
10. Your rights
Within the scope of the applicable law, you have the right to
- access the data I hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have inaccurate data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR),
- have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restrict the processing of your data (Art. 18 GDPR), and
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object
Where I process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). I will then no longer process your data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
11. Further information
You are not obliged to provide me with personal data. However, the website cannot be displayed without the technically necessary connection data, and I cannot respond to your inquiry without contact details. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
I update this privacy policy whenever the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
